Client Testimonial:
My husband and I have renovated numerous properties in our 40-year marriage, but no designer has come close to Philippa with her wealth of contacts, creative vision, timeless style and warm personality. Philippa created a beautiful, comfortable home for us that reflected our tastes and lifestyle. Her natural instinct for design, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail meant the project finished on time and within budget. The aftercare service we received was also exceptional - any snags were dealt with efficiently and graciously. We can't recommend Philippa highly enough and feel lucky to have found her.
This apartment has wonderfully high ceilings and the decoration was intended to maximise the feeling of light and space. Philippa blended a mix of both antique and modern elements which create a comfortable living space.
This beautiful eighteenth century stone built fishing lodge on the west coast of Ireland overlooks a sheltered Atlantic bay and a landscape that has inspired a generation of poets and artists.
Philippa worked with the owners who were inspired by the 2002 film The Hours, and wanted a ‘Bloombsury palette’. The study is a tranquil smoky green and the farmhouse kitchen has been painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Bone’ and ‘Blue Grey’. It is now an elegant house dedicated to the comfort and convenience of friends and family.
This house was a new-build project overlooking the sea on the West coast of Ireland. Designed to look unobtrusive within its surroundings, it is deceptively spacious inside. The house was designed to be a comfortable and relaxing family home.
The interior was kept light and spacious, with a double height Kitchen, perfect for entertaining friends and family. The colour palette focused on pale greens, blues and greys, to reflect the light from the sea - counterbalanced with splashes of red and terracotta.
This modern flat was decorated from scratch taking inspiration from the colours from the carpet, one of Melissa Wyndham's designs.
The decoration was kept simple using plain colours and bringing in dashes of patten in the decorative cushions.
This home was designed and decorated for a collector. The subtle colours in each room provide the perfect backdrop for their collection of paintings and drawings.
Our client wanted to create an environment that would work for a family with young children. Philippa redecorated using plain and printed linens and hand-blocked fabrics and cushions to bring in colour and pattern.
There is a nautical theme in the master cabin with a blue and white Toile de Jouy pattern. The dining cabin is elegant and crisp using greys and blue-greens in linen and cotton fabrics.
